February is Here!

I am so excited to do another issue of "Prerecommendations"! I have so much fun researching the book releases for the month and finding new books to be excited about. I hope you enjoy reading about them, and if you do, let me know in the comments below!

I've read the first two books in the Red Queen series, and really enjoyed them. I'm excited to see where the story goes. If you haven't read the first two books in this series, I highly recommend them!

King's Cage, by: Victoria Aveyard

The Impossible Fortress,

If the story is set in the 1980's, I am going to read it. I absolutely love the 80's, especially the pop culture. This sounds like a super fun, and lighthearted read. I'm so excited to see how this adventure unfolds.

PS. In the Goodreads description of the book, there is a video game that goes along with it. Super fun.

I'm a sucker for space fantasy. I don't know what it is, but I love them, especially when they  involve space criminals and space princesses... Just everything in space. If you're selling, I'm buying.

Empress of a Thousand Skies,
by: Rhoda Belleza

We Are Okay,
by: Nina LaCour

February 14th

I am so excited for this book! When I was researching books for this post, I happened to stumble upon this one, and it sounds so interesting. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I always think about what would happen if one day I decided to pick up and leave and not say a word to anybody. I am excited to see what happens in this book regarding that.

I don't think I've read a book with such a unique sounding character. This book is about a girl who has a severe case of anxiety, and imagines the worst in everything. I am really excited to see the world through such a different viewpoint from my own. Right now, I wouldn't say I know much about people with anxiety, and I hope it will help me understand those people more.
