Review: The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer (Part 1)

9/23/2018

I’ve been involved with the young adult community for over two years now, and in my time here, I have felt a little guilty for not reading Twilight. I mean, we’ve all heard about it; people who’ve read it say it’s fantastic and people who haven’t say it’s terrible (Which is odd. Can’t we give the book a chance before we judge the vampires?). Anyway, the time has come, and I have taken the plunge into the world of Bella Swan and her mythical friends.

(PS - Since I know many people have read this series, I’ve decided to combine the reviews for Twilight and New Moon, and the same goes for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn after I read them. Don’t worry, though, both reviews will be spoiler-free just in case.)

A Study in Charlotte, by Brittany Cavallaro (And Why Reading Slumps Are The Monsters Under My Bed)

Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve sat down and written a review. I probably feel like this because the school year has started, and I’m forced to do gross things like homework instead of reading. But do not fear, for I have (hopefully) figured out a system for consuming more stories, which, in turn, means more reviews for all of you!

Precommendations: Volume 2, Issue 9

September comes and brings colder weather, football games, and, of course, A BUNCH OF GREAT NEW BOOKS. Two of my favorite stories are getting sequels, and we’re getting some great new series and standalone stories too. By the end of the month, we’ll be able to snuggle down by the fire and enjoy our books in peace, without being bothered to “go outside.” Because that’s lame. In preparation for the best time of the year to read, I am sharing with you my five anticipated September releases.
