I've Been Blogging for 1 YEAR!

       Oh my goodness! I can't believe I've been putting book content on the internet for a whole year. I thought I would go through and share some of my favorite blog posts with you guys as a little celebration of my year of blogging.

       Here it is, folks: my first ever review. Now that I look back, I have absolutely no idea why I chose this book to be my first review. I had really high hopes for this book and ended up not liking it at all. It ended up being one of the few books that I've reviewed that I really didn't like.

6 Unique Books to Cure Your Book Hangover

       This particular post was released in my first month of blogging, and I had soooo much fun writing it. It was fun to look at my own reading experience and see what helped my out of my own hangovers

       This book was so much fun to read last summer, and it was just as much fun to review! I loved being able to sit down and read a full story in one sitting, and doing little mini-reviews for them thereafter. Since I talked about every story desperately, the first six stories are in part one, and the last six stories are in part two.

West Coast Vacation, Summer 2016

       This past summer, my family and I went on a vacation all along the west coast. We flew out to Seattle, Washington, drove down to Portland, Oregon, to stay with my great-grandmother, and then drove down through the redwoods and the vineyards to San Francisco, California. It was an amazing experience, and something I'll never forget. While we were there, whenever we stopped in a city, we would go find a small, indie bookstore and I would pick out a book to take with me. I got to meet some amazing people, and see some awesome bookstores too!

       As readers, none of us like to be in that place where we just can't bring ourselves to pick up a book. I thought I would share my tips and tricks on how to survive these times, and also look for some of your guys' tips on how to survive as well!

Precommendations: Volume 1, Issue 1

       My first Precommendations post! I absolutely love researching books to feature in these posts. It also gives me a chance to see all the new books that are coming out, especially the ones by my favorite authors that I find myself going, "I can't believe I missed the memo on this!" I can't wait to continue this series, and I hope I can keep it going for a long time.

       In my English class this semester, my teacher gave the assignment to write a short, creative story to go along with learning about the hero's journey setup. I decided that I would share my story with some fellow book nerds, in hope for some critic and feedback. I am very proud of my story, which is titled "Queen Victoria the Enlightened," so go check it out!

       I am so proud to say that I've been blogging for a full year! Thank you guys for sticking with me through thick and thin, and I hope to continue for many years to come!
