It’s been SO LONG since I’ve posted a review for all of you beautiful readers out there, so today I’m bringing you a review of the Renegades Audiobook. I’ve been listening to audiobooks during art class this past semester, and throughout the past two weeks, I’ve been able to squeeze more and more listening into my schedule. I am excited to discuss it!

I’ve been listening to Renegades by Marissa Meyer on audiobook these past two weeks, and have loved every second of it. Since I only have a few chapters left, I thought it would be a perfect time to compile a list of other books showcasing superpowers. I’ve included three distinct types of stories, so there is a book for everyone involved. Be sure to let me know what your favorite book with a superpower is at the end of the post!

I went to see Hamilton last week since my parents gave me tickets as a Christmas gift, and it was just as amazing as I could’ve dreamed. So, when I stumbled upon this tag, I knew it would be the perfect post for this week. Nothing makes me happier than combining my love of books and theatre. Make sure you check out my other dramatic posts at the end of this one!
(Also beware of the last three songs for spoilers!)

Another year, another volume of precommendations! I’m so excited to be bringing you the third year of this fantastic series. I love being able to look forward into the month and scope out all the new releases. Be sure to comment what books you’re looking forward to in January so I can keep them on my radar!

I can’t believe 2018 is over. I feel like only yesterday I was setting these goals for this past year. The good news is, I’ve met a few of my goals and have set some new ones to share with you as we enter a new year of reading! In this post, I've reflected on last year's goals and shared my new goals for this year.

Happy holidays fellow readers! Since Christmas is quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to create a gift list for all the bookish people in your life. This past year of reading for me has been a compilation of so many different types of books, so I feel I am able to find a story for your best friend AND that one aunt who you only see once a year (and aren’t sure of her name). I hope you enjoy and remember to spread holiday cheer to all of the people who matter most to you through a book.

I don’t know about you guys, but I love dogs with my entire being (and that’s an understatement). Dogs are the cutest, kindest, and most lovable creatures to ever walk this planet, and you can’t convince me otherwise. The best part of my day is opening up my Twitter feed to find a new tweet from @dog_feelings. My dad even got me a “gooob morning” mug. (#dadgoals) So, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to compile three of my favorite YA books with dogs in them.

‘Tis the season for giving, especially new YA books. I can’t believe it’s December already, which means is my last edition of Precommendations: Volume 2! 2018 has been a year full of fantastic new releases, and this month is no different. Make sure you let me know what books you are looking forward to being released this month, as well as if you would like to see me do this series again next year!

‘Tis the season to be thankful, and after two and a half years in the book blogging community, I have so much to be thankful for. Since I can’t give all of you lovely people a Charlie Brown themed feast, I had to settle with option number two and share all the bookish things I’m thankful for this year. (Maybe next year we can make that feast happen…)
Make sure you share what things you’re thankful for in the comments because I’d love to hear them!

🎝 Hello, my name is Elder Smith, and I would like to share with you the most amazing books! 🎝
Shoutout to all my fellow theatre nerds, and welcome to the most dramatic post I’ve ever done. After spending a whole weekend with the cast and crew of my high school play last month, I thought it would only be appropriate to compile a list of books that featured their own cast and crew in the story.
